Meet Our Founder

Seasons of Support Foundation was born out of a very personal journey.
As a mother to a child with multiple disabilities I know firsthand the beauty, the challenges, and sometimes the isolation that can come with this path.
For years, I searched for spaces where my child could be celebrated, not just accommodated or tolerated— spaces where families like mine could laugh, connect, and experience pure joy without barriers or limitations.
When I couldn't find enough of those spaces, I decided to build them myself.
I created Seasons of Support Foundation to be more than just a series of events — it is a community, a safe haven, and a celebration of the extraordinary lives our children lead.
Every event, every gathering, every smile is fueled by my own understanding of what families like ours need most: love, inclusion, hope, and a reminder that we are never alone.
This foundation is not just for my son — it’s for every family who deserves to be seen, celebrated, and supported through every season of life.Welcome to Seasons of Support.
I built this community for you.

Why I Started Seasons of Support

They say necessity is the mother of invention. But in my case — it was love. Deep, life-altering, unconditional love.I started Seasons of Support not because everything in my life was easy, but because so much of it was hard. As a mother to an extraordinary son with multiple disabilities, I know what it feels like to be overlooked. To feel like every resource comes with a waitlist. Like every celebration wasn’t built with families like mine in mind.I know what it’s like to sit in a doctor’s office for hours.
To Google things at 3 a.m.
To pretend I had it all together when inside, I was praying for a miracle.
And while I’ve had moments of breakdown, I’ve also had moments of breakthrough. I’ve met incredible parents, warriors in their own right, who didn’t want handouts — they just wanted help. A community. A celebration. A place where their children could be seen, supported, and celebrated — just as they are. That’s why I created Seasons of Support. This isn’t just a nonprofit.
It’s a movement.
A declaration that every family deserves a season of joy — not just survival.
We host inclusive proms, back-to-school bashes, holiday gatherings, and fun-in-the-sun events because we believe that children with disabilities deserve more than just services — they deserve experiences. They deserve memories, smiles, and moments that say: you belong here.Starting this foundation was one of the boldest things I’ve ever done. But it’s also the most beautiful. And we’re just getting started. If you’re a parent reading this, I want you to know:
💛 You are not alone.
💛 You are doing better than you think.
💛 You are still worthy of joy.
And if you’re someone who wants to help — thank you. Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply share our story, you are now part of this mission too.Together, we can create a world where inclusion isn’t the exception — it’s the expectation.

You Are Not Alone: A Letter to the Parents Who Are Tired

To the mom silently crying in her car after drop-off…To the dad who hasn’t had a full night’s sleep in years…To the caregiver showing up every day, even when it feels like no one sees you…This one’s for you.I see you.You are the reason Seasons of Support Foundation was created. As a mother navigating the world with a child who has special needs, I know the kind of tired that seeps into your spirit. I know how heavy the invisible load can be — doctor’s appointments, school meetings, sensory meltdowns, financial pressure, and the ever-present feeling that you must be strong… all the time. But let me remind you of something:
You are not alone.
Every overwhelmed sigh, every tear you hold back at the grocery store, every decision you make out of love and protection — it matters. And it’s okay if you’re tired. It’s okay if you don’t have it all together. That doesn’t make you weak — that makes you human. And it makes you one of the strongest humans I know. This foundation exists because I needed what I couldn’t find:
A space for families like ours to feel supported, celebrated, and understood all year round. Not just in crisis. Not just during awareness months. But always.
We are building more than a nonprofit. We are building a community, a movement, a reminder that you are not in this alone. So if no one has told you lately: You're doing enough. You're doing your best. And your best is beautiful. And when your best feels like it’s running on empty, we’re here. With open arms. With real support. With love that doesn’t require perfection.Let’s keep showing up — together. With you always,
